- Hello students and parents! I am a Second Grade Teacher at Summit View Academy in the Kenton Co. School District. This is my 11th year of teaching; the last 10 years have been at this wonderful school! I graduated from Oakland University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Majors in Elementary Ed. and Language Arts, and in 2010, I earned my Masters Degree with a Specialization in Gifted and Talented Education from Northern Kentucky University. I grew up in Ohio and Michigan, and have lived in Kentucky for 12 years. My husband Neil and I have four wonderful children ages 2-18; two of which attend SVA. We have been members of the Independence community for 11 years and are very proud to call this area home!
